While sitting here in China and minding my business, came an email with an offer of a new-to-me tapestry loom. A serious, monster, studio-type tapestry loom—the kind on which nine foot wide masterpieces can be woven.
I got big-eyed, big time. A new tapestry loom. A free one. A new tapestry loom that had been the property of an artist who had done large pieces for commercial entities on it. I tried to stuff my eyes back in their sockets, but they wouldn’t go.
Please God, let some of her artistry and ability to wangle the well paying commissions rub off on me.
