Silk-Cashmere Yarn

My vendor sent along a small cone of the very expensive 85% silk-15% cashmere yarn for me along with a new shipment of 24/2 linen. He’s hoping to seduce me into buying. I’m not easy. So, we’ll see.

On another note, night before last, I got a huge sheet of genuine silk batt which can be used to make silk filled jackets, comforters, or just unpacked and spun into yarn. It’s simply delicious, feels and looks rich and glossy. It makes me wish I were a better spinner. Still, I can try to make some of my own silk yarn for weaving into my tapestries when I want a particular look.
